Silver is a heavy element, a metal born from the death of a star: a supernova, scattered to the cosmos.

As an environmental/earth scientist, I am fascinated by metals and minerals used in my pieces: their chemistry, durability, sustainability, and how they came to be within the earth.

I practice an ancient form of jewellery making, called lost-wax casting. This is a technique that dates back roughly 6,000 years.
